Free legal support at the Hub

In partnership with Legal Aid, we run legal advice sessions at
The Hub, Miller NSW, where you can speak with a solicitor for free.

About the HUB

The HUB is a not-for-profit organisation providing community services for people in Miller and surrounding suburbs, providing community members with information, referrals, individual assistance and group activities.
JSC runs an outreach at the HUB every fortnight in partnership with Legal Aid NSW.

Community members can get free legal advice on the following issues:

  • apprehended Domestic Violence Orders
  • bills – including disputes with energy and phone providers
  • car accidents
  • centrelink debts
  • consumer disputes
  • criminal charges – including driving offences
  • domestic violence and Victims compensation claims
  • elder Abuse
  • employment
  • family law
  • fines
  • funeral plans
  • insurance disputes
  • police conduct
  • social housing evictions
  • superannuation – total and permanent disability claims.
We also deliver community legal education (CLE) sessions to help community members understand their legal rights and options in these areas of law.
This in person legal advice clinic is run in partnership with Legal Aid NSW and CORE Community Services.

You can call (02) 8582 4110 or stop by the HUB to arrange a face-to-face appointment with a lawyer at 16 Woodward Crescent, Miller NSW 2168.

Clients do not have to live in Miller or a surrounding suburb to get an appointment, but they should be able to attend the HUB in-person for the appointment.
